World Book Day Parent/ Carer Reading Session
World Book Day is a special celebration that brings stories to life and inspires a love of reading in children of all ages. In school, the day is made even more memorable with a wonderful parent and carer reading session, where families are invited into the classroom to share books together. Children have the opportunity to read alongside their parents or carers, listen to different voices telling their favourite stories, and explore new books in a warm and welcoming environment. These shared reading moments not only strengthen children’s literacy skills but also highlight the importance of reading at home. The session creates a strong sense of community, showing pupils that reading is something to be enjoyed, celebrated, and shared beyond the classroom.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming author @BlueGold201 to speak with our Year 5 and 6 students. They were thrilled to hear him share insights into his new books and pick up some fantastic tips for their own creative writing! #Learningwithoutlimits
